The Bonneville Education Foundation partners with Bonneville School District 93 Child Nutrition to ensure that every student has access to meals and positive experiences surrounding school nutrition.

This fund helps support two important needs in our schools:

• Assisting students whose families are experiencing temporary financial hardship and have negative lunch balances

• Supporting special nutrition programs and student traditions that create positive experiences around school meals

Every child deserves to focus on learning,  not worrying about whether they can afford lunch.

Helping Students with Negative Lunch Balances

Sometimes families experience financial challenges that lead to unpaid lunch balances. Donations to this fund allow the foundation and Child Nutrition to help quietly and respectfully assist students in need.

Supporting Student Nutrition Program

Occasionally, this fund also supports special student experiences such as:

• End-of-year student celebrations

• Nutrition engagement activities

• Programs that promote positive experiences around school meals

One example is Lunch on a Frisbee, a beloved tradition where elementary students enjoy lunch on frisbees that become a fun keepsake of the school year.
