Day at the Dunes Field Trip Giveaway

The Bonneville Education Foundation is excited to spread a little extra joy across District 93 this spring! Right now, we are hosting our Day at the Dunes Field Trip Giveaway, where one lucky grade at one school will win a fun-filled field trip to the Sand Dunes this May.

Parents, students, and community members are invited to nominate their school by sharing something they love about their teachers, students, or school community. It’s a great way to highlight the amazing things happening across District 93 while giving one group of students a memorable end-of-year adventure.

We can’t wait to read your nominations and celebrate the incredible schools that make our district so special!

Teacher Appreciation Week Nominations

Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, and the Bonneville Education Foundation is excited to celebrate the incredible educators who make a difference in the lives of students across District 93. Right now, parents, students, and community members are invited to nominate outstanding teachers who go above and beyond every day.

Five teachers from across the district will be selected to receive special recognition during Teacher Appreciation Week, along with a gift from the Bonneville Education Foundation as a small token of our appreciation for the work they do.

We love hearing the stories of the teachers who inspire, encourage, and support our students every day. Be sure to submit your nomination and help us celebrate the amazing educators in our district!

Other Initiatives Supporting Students in District 93

In addition to our foundation programs, the Bonneville Education Foundation is proud to help highlight important initiatives happening across District 93 that support students in meaningful ways. If you are looking for ways to give back right now, the following programs are making a difference in our schools.

Lunch on a Frisbee – Child Nutrition Program

The district’s Child Nutrition team is working to make lunch a little more fun for students with “Lunch on a Frisbee.” Donors can help purchase frisbees that students can use during lunch and recess. It’s a simple way to encourage play, movement, and connection during the school day.

Black Canyon Middle School Greenhouse Project

Students and staff at Black Canyon Middle School are working to raise funds for a greenhouse that will support hands-on learning opportunities in science, agriculture, and sustainability. This greenhouse will allow students to explore plant science, environmental stewardship, and real-world growing experiences as part of their education.

Helping Students with Negative Lunch Balances

Some students across the district carry negative lunch balances, which can create stress for families and students. Donations toward this effort help ensure students can continue receiving meals while supporting families who may be experiencing temporary financial hardship.
