From Lost To Loved-Our Continuous Coat Swap
Every winter, countless coats are left behind in our schools—forgotten, unclaimed, and destined to sit unused. We saw those coats not as lost items, but as an opportunity to love and serve the students in our community.
From Lost to Loved is our continuous, virtual coat swap. Any parent, teacher, or even student can request a coat, and we will deliver one directly to their school. What began as a collection of unclaimed coats has now grown into a district-wide effort to ensure that every child has what they need to stay warm.
Our goal is simple but powerful: to keep every student in our district warm this winter and for many winters to come. Already, we’ve been able to provide coats for several students, and we hope to reach even more as the need continues.
This project is more than coats—it’s about dignity, comfort, and community. A warm coat means a student can walk to school without shivering, play at recess without freezing, and sit in class ready to learn instead of distracted by the cold. Every coat tells a story: once lost, now loved.
